My spouse must bring a 50% to the table
It is indeed laughable when a married couple solves the equation of marriage as though it were some arithmetic problem. Sometimes you may have to go 90 percent to meet your spouse’s 10 percent sometimes, and at other times, your partner may have to go 90 percent to meet you 10 percent.
Couples make this mistake because the quest for equality has consumed them such that they usually forget that their spouse is a human being and being human simply means they can and are allowed to make mistakes. Also personality differences and love code make a couple differ so you need to compliment not complete each other.
