THE INTEREST CAUSED BY COMPLIMENTS

Emeka and Adaora have been married for about 8 years now and contrary to some people’s assumption that the marriage would not last as it began in a very funny but controversial way not the regular societal accepted way in quote.

Adaora is the twin sister to Emeka’s high school friend “Obinna”. Obinna guided his sister’s interest with all jealousy and never permitted his friend to get close to her.

Eventually Adaora became friends with Emeka’s fiance “Adaugo” and sometimes would accompany her friend to see Emeka.
Gradually, Emeka and Adaora began to develop interest in each other as they often spoke kind words to each other and Adaugo never bothered.

At some point Adaugo and Emeka parted as they were not comparable but Emeka kept in touch with Adaora and one thing led to another.

Boom! Adaora was pregnant and Emeka decided to marry her. With this there was great speculation that their marriage would not last but 8 years later they are still waxing strong.

What could have been the secret spark?

It was compliments!

They have always complimented each other and they still do even after marriage and coincidentally this is also a strong love code for both and they spoke it well.

As married couples give Compliments, everybody loves it. So hand them out freely without overdoing it. Leaving a nice part of yourself like a compliment is a good memory for your spouse to recall. That’s good rapport. But do be sincere! False compliments aren’t easily disguised so share positive true feedback.
